What does one do with another trinket after a certain stage of life? In lieu of the traditional Christmas exchange, the Memorial Drive Garden Club board and members decided enthusiastically to donate $20 each for hurricane victims. They raised $1,200 to help families at Spring Branch Independent School District. President Susanna Jeu was missing at the meeting at Laurie Sorsby’s home but proud to be a part of it when Kristi Barnhill, Maureen Berry and Tammy Coker counted the cash and checks.
