Thirty students from Lamar High School’s aquatics team travelled to New York City to compete in the New York vs. Texas rivalry swim meet against Xavier High School. The biannual tradition has become a much-anticipated event for the team. The team is led by LHS head coach S. R. "Mac" McDonald.
