Support for Twain families

Mary Atherton, Claire Reeves and Suzanne Kobza (pictured, from left) are co-chairing Mark Twain Elementary’s annual auction, Huckleberry Bash, on Feb. 16 at the Ballroom at Bayou Place. In celebration of this year’s Neon Night theme, parents and school community members are encouraged to rock their best ’80s gear; prizes will be awarded for the best male and female costumes. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Mark Twain families affected by Hurricane Harvey. Tickets and T-shirts are on sale now, and various levels of sponsorship and underwriting are available.
