Zoe, age 3

Hi! My name is Zoe, and I am new to the neighborhood. Originally from West Virginia, I made it around the shelter circuit until being rescued by former Bellaire resident Meryl Gibbs. We lived together in the DC area until my mom made the decision to move to Australia. You may not know this, but there are tough immigration laws there, and pets entering the country are subject to a quarantine, so I came here to live with my grandparents instead until Mom gets home. I’m a Miniature Pinscher, or Min Pin for short. I’ve been here for about six months so far, and I love Bellaire because of the warm weather and the big yard, but I’m not a fan of hurricanes. My favorite things are being outside and searching for squirrels and lizards. My favorite treats are apple slices and maybe an occasional shoe.
