Chevron Houston Marathon supporters gathered for coffee and breakfast at the marathon’s Mayor’s Breakfast in front of the West University Place City Hall. Mayor Susan Sample welcomed over 100 guests, including current and former council members, event sponsors H-E-B and HDR, West U board and commission members, and staff from the Houston Marathon Committee.  Guests had breakfast while watching the marathon runners pass by at the 10½-mile mark. Dee Dee & Mike and the Moondance Band provided live music to encourage runners passing by. Pictured (from left) are Mayor Sample, Amanda Hollie and Wanda Holman.
