Joey, age 10

Hi there! My name is Joey, and my middle name is Ike; my family gave me my middle name because they got me during Hurricane Ike. You probably know me because I love to escape my house and run around the neighborhood. Maybe you’ve even given me safe harbor in your backyard until you could reach my mom. You might even recognize me because I never take a walk without a stuffed friend in my mouth. It might be my yellow duck or my orange tiger or maybe my brown dog, but it’s always something. If you walk by my house you will hear me barking, as my greatest talent is finding tennis balls. I’ll bark and bark until my family gets it out of the drawer I smell it in, and then I’ll bark and bark until they throw it for me. It makes them CRAZY, so it’s even more fun for me!
