A lovely Rose

Condit Elementary School student Marin Rose, 6, and dad Darren Rose attended their first daddy-daughter dance at Bellaire United Methodist Church, hosted by the City of Bellaire. Over 100 fathers brought their daughters for a night of fun. This year’s theme was “Belle of the Ball” from the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast. Each girl left with a personalized mirror, chocolate rose and crown. Throughout the night, the girls had an opportunity to have their face painted by Honey Dew the Clown, take silly pictures with their dads in the photo booth, have professional pictures taken by Natural Expressions and enter in a free raffle for the life-size cutouts of the characters from Beauty and the Beast. H-E-B sponsored the food and drinks, along with Chick-fil-A. Marin’s mom, Jennifer, said she came home with a huge smile, excited to share the details.
