The Memorial Drive Garden Club annual couples dinner was a blooming fiesta at Karen Beach’s home. Things got so hot a few candles burned a tablecloth. A sombrero hung from the light fixture over the island as 70 guests went through the fajita buffet organized by Melanie Whatley and her team of 12 members.
