Spring Branch Education Foundation board members Scooter Hicks and Jay Sartain (pictured, standing, from left, with SBEF executive director Cece Thompson) are planning the 22nd annual Golf Classic on April 15 at BlackHorse Golf Club in Cypress. Proceeds will benefit Spring Branch ISD’s 35,000 students. The tournament is a four-player team scramble and will include a raffle and contests. Also helping out with the tournament are J. Carter Breed, Jessica Fogleman, Sara Gammill, George Kurisky, Warren Matthews, Roy Montalbano, Paul Moreton, Ted Nowak, Ron Nunley, Lisa Schwartz, Debbie Slack and Warren Sloan. Team and individual registration is open through April 12 (teams, $2,000; individuals, $500). Register at sbef.ejoinme.org/golf or call 713-251-2381.
