Students from Horn Elementary, including (pictured, from left, with Mr. Alex Jones) Micah Harris, Quinn Morgenroth and John Corder, presented at Houston Independent School District’s State of the Schools. The fifth graders, along with STEM Lab teacher Alex Jones, showcased Dash robots and CoDrones, programmable drone kits. They were part of a donation from Chevron, the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation and 3M, in order to help students use logic and teamwork to learn programming and coding skills.
