Condit's International Festival.

Condit Elementary recently hosted its third annual International Festival. The International Festival (or I-Fest) is a family-friendly event that celebrates the cultural diversity and international community at Condit. Students, including (pictured, from left) Meghan Laws, Gianna Vela and Isabel Munro, dressed up in their cultural costumes for the parade of nations, where over 50 countries were represented. Condit students auditioned to perform. The performances included a Bollywood-inspired dance, traditional Chinese music played on a guzheng (Chinese folk instrument that sounds similar to a harp), a traditional Indian dance and a traditional Mexican dance. Condit teachers also worked on class projects with their students that families were able to view at I-Fest. Chairs were Rachel Berger, Peggy Chang, Alicia Escamilla, Barbara Garibaldi and Samir Mehta.
