Woman’s discussion group WIT hosted a fascinating meeting with (from left) Vicki Semander, Liz Pudwill, Michele Mejia, hostess Susan Lieberman, B.J. Chatman and emcee Sandy Wotiz.

A woman’s discussion group, WIT, refocused its interests to “know what we don’t know.” The group of 20 or so, led by Susan Lieberman, invited three transgender women (formerly men) to speak about their lives and decisions. The next month, the group heard from four women who spent time in jail or prison, what turned them around and where their lives were now. Their jobs included a doctor’s office, Harris County and the Houston Chronicle. Sandy Wotiz arranged for the women, Vicki Semander, Michele Mejia, B.J. Chatman and Liz Pudwill, to share their profound stories.
