The 2018 March of Dimes Houston March for Babies will take place on May 6 at 8 a.m. at the University of Houston campus. Veronica Martin (pictured, sitting in chair), chief nurse officer at The Woman’s of Hospital of Texas, is participating in the walk with her daughter, Briana Gonner (pictured), who is in medical school studying to be an obstetrician. Ashley McClellan, hospital CEO, is the chairperson, and HCA Healthcare's Gulf Coast Division is a sponsor of the event. The goal of the walk is to educate women and their families on how to avoid premature birth. See marchforbabies.org.
