A group of neighborhood friends, including (pictured, from left) John Cypher, James Murnane, Kane Kinney, Mary Ruth Cochran, Pete McConn and Charlie Dollinger, celebrated the fact that they’ll continue on together for high school at Lamar High School. They attended Briargrove Elementary School and Tanglewood Middle School. The boys played baseball at TMS, and the girls were cheerleaders.
