Kirby Taylor, Helen Frierson, underwriting co-chair Gretchen Anderson and co-chair Theresa Frierson (pictured, from left) were among 650 supporters at The Hobby Center for the Casa de Esperanza Building Hope for Children gala, which raised just under $1 million. The mission of Casa de Esperanza is to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect for at-risk infants, children and their families. Residential and aftercare programs are offered to families at no cost. Guests at the gala enjoyed lively music, a photo booth, and food from Cordúa Restaurants. Honorary chairs were Janet Moore, in memory, and Jimmie Moore; event co-chairs were Margaret and Mac Colvin, Theresa and Ray Frierson, Marian and Vince Hefley, Jerri and Jim Moore, Kathryn and Michael Moore, Lee Ann and Richard Moore, and Stassa and John Moore.
