MOMS AND SONS School ended, and Paris called to (from left) Karen Magee, Blake Magee, Blaire Echols, Trey Echols, Andrew Olsson and Donna Olsson.

Moms and sons Karen Magee, Blake Magee, Blaire Echols, Trey Echols, Andrew Olsson and Donna Olsson took Paris by the Texas tail to celebrate the start of summer and the completion of the boys’ sophomore year in college. The group has been friends since early elementary school days at Bunker Hill Elementary. A highlight was the Fat Tire bike tour of Paris. They visited the French Open tennis pre-qualifying matches and sat through enough rain to know it wouldn’t end. Another day led to an excursion to the Normandy area, with apple cider tasting. They thought they were going to an outdoor musical fest in a plaza, but an union demonstration with a cast of thousands ensued, in French, so like good cowboys and girls, they hightailed it out of there.
