Nearly 200 guests filled the Houston Country Club for the Katy Prairie Conservancy’s 2018 Bash: Be Part of Our Story, which celebrated the nonprofit’s commitment to the conservation of the coastal prairie. The honoree was Kurt Hanson a community volunteer for land conservation. Guests mingled during cocktail hour, surrounded by original art created for the Katy Prairie by local artists and photographers, all part of the silent auction. The annual fundraiser brings together hundreds of community members who are supportive of KPC’s mission to protect a sustainable portion of the Katy Prairie.
