Trevor and Ruth Rabie couldn’t resist the pull of family ties to join their daughters Lisa Rabie and Martine Sakow and four grandchildren in San Diego. In July, Ruth said they had still not turned on the AC, and they opened the windows for a night breeze. At a going-away party with 60 guests held at Howard and Vicky Dyer-Smith's home, Olivia and Arnie Ostrin and a few others told “Rabie stories” before parting gifts were given. The Rabies lived in Houston 36 years and are in Houston often.
