Guests mingled at Winter Street Studios as Houston artist and author Erin Faith Allen (pictured, left, with Karen Henry) launched her second book, The In Between: A Travel Memoir. Allen researched for years and journeyed to Europe. The book offers a look into the Holocaust and World War II, chronicled through her 19-day-long exploration through and excavation of some of WWII’s most grim sites. During the event, guests explored the memoir, spoke with the artist and viewed artwork.
