Undefeated state champs
Bellaire Little League (BLL) won State with a 14-6 victory over Washington County (Brenham). The 10U team (pictured) was undefeated throughout district, sectional and state tournament play, earning BLL its first Texas East State Champion title since 2000. During the championship game, BLL had great pitching performances from Marco Quintanilla, Liam Miller and Devin Singh and key hits from Luke Loving, Marco Quintanilla, Preston Gorski, Nathan Kalmin and Devin Singh. Ryan Richter also shined with a game-winning double play when he made a sliding catch in centerfield, then came to his feet to double up the runner on second.
