“The Hill Country is more about water than hills,” says Mike Marvins, Buzz resident, professional photographer and creator of a newly published coffee-table book on his beloved Texas Hill Country. The beautiful book is a labor of love, with all proceeds being donated to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation. Travel writer Tracy Barnett gives our readers a sneak peek this month. She also writes a story filled with favorite Hill Country travel tips from Buzz residents, who were happy to meet Mike in the Hill Country in July to be photographed. Also in this issue, Cindy Gabriel, one of our original writers, comes back to The Buzz.
