Building on a legacy

It was a packed house during the evening of the 16th Annual Legacy Cocktail Party at the home of Sheridan and John Eddie Williams. The evening supported the Legacy’s Little Readers program presented by H-E-B. The event honored Richard Flowers, and his favorite Southern comfort foods were served, including fried chicken, white cheddar mac and cheese, deviled eggs, crab cakes and brisket. Co-chairs of the event, which raised $419,000, were Sheridan Williams, Elizabeth Petersen, Melissa Mithoff, Katherine Murphy, Shannon Hall and Marcus Sloan.
