Milly, age 2, and Griffey, age 13

Milly and Griffey: two very different personalities, but two dogs that needed each other more than they know. Griffey, currently 13.5 years young, was at the end of his dog years, moving slow and requiring more help from his parents – that is, until Milly showed up two years ago. Milly eagerly joined the family, full of life and excitement to play with her two young boys, Henry and Charlie. Griffey, initially disgruntled by her arrival, didn’t realize she would save his life. He decided he would not be easily replaced and immediately perked up, proving his worth, and continuing to love his family unconditionally. Griffey now “tolerates” Milly, and even attempts to teach her how to behave like a bona fide Labrador. The Amis family is very grateful for them both!
