Memorial native and Austin transplant Matthew Lee is spending much more time in his mom Peg Lee’s West U kitchen. The former high-tech executive-turned-gelato maker relies on Peg for local lodging and flavor input. Mom definitely knows best – Peg was a top Houston cooking instructor for many years. Matthew recently stopped by another Bayou City house that holds a special place in his heart – non-profit Casa de Esperanza – to treat residents and volunteers to scoops of his namesake Teo.
