Can’t Keep Silent about this Halloween Party
Since 2004, Linda and David Elmer have been throwing Halloween costume parties based on different scary movies. Linda and her "Boo Crew" - Bethyn Sotiriades, Lori Kiehle, Tracy Hatfield, Aimee Coody, Jessica Wood and Melanie Stevens - completely transform the Elmer home into different vignettes from movies.
Through the years, there’s been a Carrie Prom, An Amityville Housewarming (when they moved into their new house on Amherst St.) and, her favorite, a Rosemary's Baby Shower.
This year’s bash invited friends to join FBI agents, Clarice Starling and Jack Crawford, to "have old friends for dinner," a nod to this year's theme of Silence of the Lambs. Guests came dressed as FBI agents and really brought the fun! Costumed attendees included Ruth Bader Ginsburg & Antonio Scalia, Smokey and the Bandit, the cast of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood and Food Network stars. Guests enjoyed “Silence of the lamb” gyros courtesy of Anna's Gourmet Greek truck that even Hannibal Lecter would think were more delicious than “liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.
