That gut feeling

Members of the Kelsey family – Gaye and John Kelsey, Ann and Tom Kelsey, Wendy and Mavis Kelsey, Margaret Wier Kelsey (posthumously), Heidi and Bob Kelsey and Virginia W. Kelsey (honoring the memory of Dr. Mavis P. Kelsey Sr. and Dr. John R. Kelsey) – hosted the Live Oak Legacy Dinner at River Oaks Country Club to support the Kelsey Research Foundation (KRF). Dr. Michael Roizen, chief wellness officer at the Cleveland Clinic and co-author with Dr. Mehmet Oz of YOU: The Owner’s Manual series, discussed the importance of gut health as a key to longevity. Dr. Herbert DuPont, president and CEO of KRF, joined Dr. Roizen onstage for an informative discussion. Over $400,000 was raised to support the research efforts of the KRF-UTHealth Center for Microbiome Research. Let’s not talk about the dessert though.
