Lamar Varsity Tennis won the HISD District Team Tennis Tournament, beating Bellaire High School 10-1 and Westside High School 10-3 (after winning against other district teams) and advancing to the Bi-District Tournament in Cy Fair. There, they beat Cy Falls 10-7, earning a spot in the Area Tournament, where they fell to Seven Lakes.
