Chris Powell, now 28, was inspired by them, growing up, to tell stories with his artistic talent. Animation just made sense. He graduated from Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida, known worldwide for its computer animation/game art program. He recently won three awards for his film Novalis, one of which was Best Animated Film from the Oregon Independent Film Festival.
