For the second time in 2018, Condit Elementary School fifth graders conducted a food drive for Christian Community Service Center's two food pantries. Students canvassed Bellaire for food donations, leaving hundreds of empty grocery bags on porches and later returning to collect them. The students ended up filling the CCSC truck. Pictured are the fifth-grade class and teachers Evelyn Cornejo, Alison McKay, Melanie Mulhollan, Sonia Patel and Paula Pete. Parent food-drive chairs were Thuy Promubol and Christine Lacson.
