One of the most honorable events that Veritas Christian Academy middle school students can participate in and observe during their annual trip to Washington DC is the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. Four students are chosen through an essay competition at the school. This year's DC trip combined sixth and seventh grades, and the Wreath Laying Ceremony included two students from each class, (pictured, from left) Nicole Bakht, Mikayla Villafuerte, Ellie Veeningen and Luke Johnson.
