New Eagle Scouts
West University Boy Scout Troop 266 held an Eagle Court of Honor with three new Eagle Scouts (pictured, from left) Noah Ryan, Neel Pai and George Jordan, IV. For their Eagle Scout projects, George, a senior at Bellaire High School, crafted handmade blankets and care packages for the Ronald McDonald House. Neel, a senior at St. John’s School, built shelves for the Houston Food Bank and donated jackets to them for use in the refrigerated areas. Noah, a senior at Strake Jesuit, made an online catalog and system for St. Vincent de Paul's Thrift Store for its more substantial donated items, along with creating shelving and storage and a way to sell the bigger-ticket items through an online process; his project was a 2017 finalist for Eagle Project of the Year.
