Out-of-this-world program
As part of St. Cecilia Catholic School’s quarterly STREAM enrichment day in November, the students enjoyed a full day of space-themed events. Special guest NASA Astronaut G. Reid Wiseman (pictured, with student Cris Portillo) visited the campus. He spoke to the students about his experience as a test pilot and observations during his space exploration missions. Astronaut G. Reid Wiseman is currently the deputy chief of the Astronaut’s Office. In 2009, he was selected as one of nine members of the 20th NASA astronaut class, and in 2014 served as flight engineer aboard the International Space Station for Expedition 41.
