Last season, the Veritas Christian Academy girls’ basketball team finished as district champions, with an undefeated record. This season they are off to a great start with a solid winning record. This year’s team has four returning players from last year’s champion team, blended with some talented newcomers. Kate’s fellow Rams teammates are sixth graders Sarah Dewhurst, Eden Droog and Olivia Nicholas, seventh graders Ashlin Dennis, Virginia Fairfield, Ava Farris and Kara Thomas, and eighth grader Ellie Arrazolo.
