Wilchester Elementary School third, fourth and fifth graders who had read at least five of the 20 Texas Bluebonnet Book Nominees received a “voter’s registration card,” which enabled them to vote online for their favorite book. The students were invited to a celebration, making bluebonnet-themed crafts, taking photos in a “field of bluebonnets” using green-screen technology and coding robots through a maze of bluebonnet blocks. Pictured are (from left) fourth graders Ellie Kay Eubanks, Allie Poche and Audrey Bown making jewelry during the Bluebonnet Book Voting Celebration.
