Butterfly wings
The Leaping Butterfly Ministry’s 6th annual Seeds of Faith celebration, which was held at The Briar Club, raised a record-breaking $84,000. Singer/songwriter Ginny Owens was the keynote speaker and performed. Fifty-nine butterflies (made of painted feathers or with jewels) were sold, which awards a Turner Syndrome woman, parent or grandparent a trip to the inaugural Chrysalis Retreat April 5-7. Turner syndrome, a chromosomal condition caused by the absence of all or part of the second X sex chromosome, affects more than 1 out of every 2,000 females.
