The greatest showmen
Harrison’s Heroes hosted a “fun”raiser at The Houston Racquet Club themed The Greatest Carnival on Earth. The Deacons of Deadwood, a motorcycle club dedicated to safe motorcycle riding and to local charities benefiting kids, were a major sponsor and wore their signature jackets. KPRC Channel 2 meteorologist Justin Stapleton played the role of the “Greatest Showman,” dressed in full regalia, and a model was wrapped in a dress made entirely of balloons. Party-goers played games and had their photos taken with monkeys and their fortunes read. Harrison's Heroes founders are Sandy and Shanoop Kothari. The nonprofit helps kids experiencing extended hospital stays and provides them arts and crafts.
