GALLIVANTING IN THE Galápagos Dr. Brian and Marlene Lord frolicked with the giant land tortoises in the Galápagos Islands.

Marlene Lord was quite shocked when a shark swam by her. She and her hubby, Dr. Brian Lord, stalked giant turtles and other sea animals in the ocean before going to Machu Picchu, where they viewed the 600-year-old city of Inca stone architecture from 7,900-plus feet above sea level. Many of the stones used to build the city weighed 50 tons and were carved and carried without iron tools or wheels. The Lords had a blessed moment high in the mountain.
