Royal experience
The Knights of Momus, Galveston’s oldest Mardi Gras Krewe, presented its royal court, King Frivolous CIV and his queen at the Knights of Momus Coronation Ball and reception at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston. Renee and Scott Rice served as ball chairs. In addition to being presented at the Coronation Ball and the San Luis Salute, the 28 duchesses rode in the Knights of Momus Grand Night Parade. Their gowns were designed by Miwa Sakashita. Duchesses included Lexie Ammons, Gracie Bassett, Nicole Blakley, Kristen Blakley, Kathryn Criaco, Katie Rose Cullen, Bailey Dodson, Kaki Duenner, Melissa Estrada, Blayne Fertitta, Chloe Flores, Hannah Herrold, Valerie Herrscher, Joanie Kelso, Sabrina Kesler, Hannah Kirby, Heather Kirby, Maria Koutrouvelis, Marissa Matthews, Macey McCann, Danielle Perugini, Devin Peterson, Cara Quigley, Sara Beth Shelton, Emlynn Smith, Amber Tribble, Morgan Vicknair and Maddi Walser.
