Belle, age 10

My name is Belle, and I’m a proud first- generation American dog, born and raised in Texas. I was born to a Hungarian dad and an American mom, just like my human mom. I was too small to be shown at dog shows, but that’s okay. I found my calling as a human cuddler. I love to be held like a baby and attached close to a human. Some might say I’m over the hill, but all the love I give and get has kept me spry. I love playing roughie-toughie, tearing up paper cups with Dad. Mom calls me her “little kitten” because I love lapping up milk in the morning. I’m calm, with a sunny disposition, except when pups antagonize me with their friskiness. Then I’m all business and put those young rascals in their place. If you see me out for walkies, don’t be shy. Bend down and pet me. I’m here to spread some love!
