More than 120 supporters of the Houston Symphony League gathered at The Briar Club with 2018-19 president Maureen Higdon to celebrate and kick off her second year leading HSL. The luncheon was chaired by Chelsea Ingram and Fran Fawcett-Peterson. Jennifer Gravenor was honored with the League’s Ellen Kelley Volunteer of the Year award. Performing were violinists Rainel Joubert and Patricia Quintero with the Houston Symphony’s Community-Embedded Musicians. The League is an 80-year-old organization that supports the symphony.
