The JDRF's 20th Anniversary Platinum Promise Ball had it all, including $1.9 million by the end of the night, at the glittering Hilton Americas-Houston ballroom. After dinner and a moving program, entertainment options were dancing or a late-night casino, and an after-party with a champagne reception, open bar and late-night snacks. Someone has to party all night. The chairs, Mary and Mark D’Andrea, honoree Daniel Yates, Fielding and Meredith Cocke Visionary Award recipients Dr. Alana Spiwak and Sam Stolbun, Rick Byrd (executive director for JDRF) and Brian and Jordan Amis, complied!
