Charming Lucca, Italy, a walled city from the Renaissance era, became the base for David and Dee Dee Wadler and friends for a week. They day-tripped to neighboring towns Pisa, Florence, Forte dei Marmi, a trendy seaside town known for its designer street markets, Barga in the Italian Alps, and San Gimignano, known for its tower houses. They ended in Paris at the Musee National Picasso Paris and the stunning, modern Louis Vuitton Foundation Museum designed by Frank Gehry in the Bois de Boulogne. Certainly a trip with a designer bag of memories.
