The West University Softball Association (WUSA) 8U Wave team wrapped up a busy summer schedule with a championship win at the Spring Bayer Park tournament. After battling teams on one of the hottest days of the season, the Wave run-ruled five teams to win the championship on the final Sunday of play. During the course of the summer, the girls played 45 games with a record of 35-10, with four first-place finishes.
