Chapelwood UMC kicked off the fall with Homecoming – A Chapelwood Family Reunion. Attendees braved the sun (and the rain) to catch up after the summer, enjoy lunch from Bayou City Eats, James Coney Island and Kona Ice, visit prayer rooms and bounce on inflatables. Kids and adults had a blast hitting the Dunk-A-Pastor strike zone and raising more than $1,500 for The Shoe That Grows, providing 75 pairs of expandable shoes for children living in poverty.
