The 8th Annual Southside Place Winter Wonderland Carnival will take place Sat., Dec. 7, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. outside the Southside Clubhouse. Play carnival games, climb on inflatables, ride a mechanical bull, scale the rock-climbing wall, get creative with Artmix, have your face painted, visit the balloon artist, throw confetti eggs, have a photo taken with Santa, play in a huge pile of snow, bid in a silent auction, and shop in the bazaar. Proceeds go toward improving Fire Truck Park. Pictured is Lillian Sommers at last year’s carnival. Event chairs are Alexa Burrow, Kelly Frew and Ashley Stollberg. See ci.southside-place.tx.us.
