Ole Halloween
The annual Halloween party Chris Kase celebrates, now in its 25th year, took on a new theme this year to get her friends out of witches’ hats. She combined the traditional Mexican Day of the Dead with Texas and greeted guests with a giant sombrero and cowgirl attire. It was just natural that Tex Mex food, from Los Tios, was served. The first guest, Bobbi Newman, walked in with skeleton attire and a painted skull-like face, and was soon followed by Marlene Finger in chaps and a leather jacket with Betty Boop on the back. A few others festively attired were Theresa Behenna, Nancy Strohmer, Carol Sawyer, Barbara Golub and Rita Blumenfeld. Chris’ daughter and DJ, Heidi Massin, provided the spirited music for the 28 lively señoritas.
