Glamping
Gracious homeowner Mike Garver saw his yard get glammed up for the “Camp Crestwood” Bayou Preservation fun-raiser. When the weather turned cold, a see-through designer tent sprang up. Guests also took to the campfire with cushioned benches and blankets and to the bar to feel a current with a signature vodka drink. Lanterns led the way down the trails to the bayou. Mary Nurre, in the spirit of camping, walked around with a headlamp on and a vintage headed fox stole. Co-chairs Beth Black and Gretchen Hilyard, BPA board chair Robert Rayburn and president and CEO Sarah P. Bernhardt, Ph.D., swamped the donors with thankfulness.
