At The Health Museum’s Golden Anniversary Celebration, member institutions of the Texas Medical Center gathered to celebrate the John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science – Houston’s only Smithsonian-affiliate museum. More than 270 filled the River Oaks Country Club for dinner and dancing, raising $425,000. “Heart of Gold Award” recipients included Dr. David and Jane Braden, Dr. Kenneth and June Mattox and the MD Anderson Foundation.
