Steve and Janet Bashen had an intimate party for 30 at a lounge-type nightclub, Belvedere, in Uptown Park, before it opened to the public at 10 p.m. A DJ spun tunes, and a magician did up-close magic while guests enjoyed a buffet of Mexican food. Barry Gritz, a friend, entertained all with his energetic Zumba. Also in the group were Mary Pagge Prince and Allison and Cody Kimbler.
