Joanne Naponic combined her holiday lunch with a fundraiser for Gracewood, a home in Spring Branch for low-income single moms with children. Tamales and seafood gumbo were served, and miniature bottles of Tabasco sauce were party favors. Dr. Annette Gemp helped Joanne raise $2,200 for the good cause. Joanne’s 12-year-old neighbor, Gabriella Rose, sang, and Mike Harris played the keyboard. In the spirited crowd were Barbra Markman, Marie Braezhardi, Sydney Contino, Melissa Sos, Marlene Pfifel and Cheryl Sorenson.
